Volunteering is known to be good for the community, but often life or work can make it feel impossible to carve out time for ONE MORE THING. But did you know volunteering is also good for the volunteer? Join PMI Chapter Engagement Partner Sarah Maxwell, and learn:

Sarah Maxwell, PMI Region 4 Chapter Engagement Partner

Sarah Maxwell is a PMI chapter engagement specialist, working with PMI Chapter leadership to enjoy their volunteer experience, and enhance their chapter’s value.
Like the NASA janitor who helped to put a man on the Moon, Sarah believes her work is meaningful: supporting PMI’s chapters helps maximize project success, which elevates our world.

Sarah is a trained singer, actress, costumer, and massage therapist. She is an avid facilitator and speaker and was honored to be chosen by PMI to attend TED2019. She is the co-founder of PMI’s Toastmaster Club, PMI Speaks, and a PMI Cultural Activator. Sarah recently represented the PMI Culture Team at the 2023 PMI Sub-Saharan Africa Leadership Institute and PMI Africa Conference.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from George Mason University.
