Job Club - Welcome to the 2014 Year: Revisit Two Tested Practices

17 Jan 2014 - 8:00am
Job Club Welcomes the 2014 Year by Revisiting Two Tested Practices

Our current Job Club charter was built loosely around several job hunt methods and concepts. The Club Charter recommends that members should put together a job search plan that moves them step by step toward their goal of landing a job. One concept modeled after the Five O’clock Club is partners. Another basic step in any job search plan is identifying your skills.

Carl Gessman, Job Club Co-Organizer, will facilitate discussion on:

  1. What this partner concept is and how this small group communication practice builds job search benchmarks and can shorten your job search.
  2. How the attendees can encourage this practice within our current group of job seekers.

The second part of the agenda will be a helpful skills assessment exercise.

Job Club announcements and networking will round out the morning’s activities and serve to get your 2014 job search plan in motion.

RSVP via the MeetUp site; also check that site for updates, changes, and more information
