Aravindh will talk with us about a large AI program aimed at maintaining content integrity across major social media platforms. We will delve into the innovative strategies, processes, and technologies employed to detect and reduce harmful user behavior at scale. Aravindh will offer unique insights into the interplay of enforcement, technology, program management, and the human element, in the effort to create safer online environments.
Aravindh Manickavasagam is a seasoned Technical Program Manager with over a decade of experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex software projects. Currently at Instacart, Aravindh manages planning and execution of data and ML programs.
Previously, at Meta, he managed large-scale AI/ML programs to enhance trust and safety on Facebook and Instagram. At Ernst & Young, he played a pivotal role in the innovation incubator, developing and scaling products like EY's Document Intelligence platform.
Aravindh holds an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Anna University.
