Holidays and Giving Back
Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, we look towards the next set of holidays. Many of us will attend numerous parties, start shopping for co-workers, friends, and family, and prepare or attend another feast. PMI Westchester has been busy making sure our December 13th Chapter meeting is one you will enjoy. This month we start at 5 p.m. with a networking and hors d’oeuvre hour, followed by our normal Chapter meeting programming. I want to extend my gratitude to the entire Program team for organizing and planning this event!
However, the Chapter fun doesn’t stop there. At our November Chapter meeting, our VP of Programs, Mike Byrnes, announced the Chapter is planning to work with a local food pantry in January to help those in need. Many of you expressed your interest in participating in such an event, so I encourage you to reach out to Mike (VP.Programs@pmiwestchester.org) to get more details.
The Chapter is also working on our partnership with Volunteer New York, a non-profit organization focused on serving those in Westchester and the surrounding communities. Stay tuned to find out more about the Chapter’s plans. And, be sure to “Save the Date” for our Annual Symposium to be held on April 29, 2017!!
See you at the December Holiday and Chapter Meeting at The Stone Manor 101 in Hawthorne…
